In the winter of 2020, HP Legacy was selected to restore the concrete walls of the brine tank at Purdue’s Tarkington Hall. These tanks were built when the dormitory was originally constructed in the late 1950’s and through the years, the salt brine had deteriorated the concrete tank necessitating the repairs. Due to COVID-19, construction was postponed until the spring of 2022. Now complete and operational, this marks the third Purdue residence hall brine tank repair by our Construction Manager, Justin Caffey, and the team at HP Legacy. This Purdue Tarkington Brine Tank Renovation has given new life to the tanks, enabling them to last for several decades in the future
