HP Legacy was pleased to be a part of the new Alienware Purdue Gaming Lounge housed in the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center on the Purdue campus. A partnership project between Dell Technologies and Alienware, the new gaming lounge boasts a 2,000-square-foot space outfitted with premium Alienware gaming equipment, making it one of the largest dedicated collegiate gaming facilities in the country.
HP Legacy was responsible for the space build-out, working to accommodate the technological needs of Alienware and streamlining coordination with the architect and contractors.
“This was a unique project to coordinate with an unveiling planned for students’ upcoming return to campus this fall. We enjoyed working with Alienware as they brought the space to life with their cutting-edge technology,” said Sean Barnes, Project Manager at HP Legacy. “It’s an impressive looking finished project and we’re happy to have been a part of bringing this vision to fruition.”
Opening in August 2024, the lounge will provide an elite gaming space for students to train and compete in esports at the highest level by using best-in-class equipment. There are several esports and gaming organizations at Purdue, and the offering serves as a unique attraction for prospective incoming students.
